Inspiring People to Improve Business Performance by Exceeding Their Own Expectations

Dr Paul Thomas presented his first Vital Importance Programme in 1993. He has maintained his relationship with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce (KEBE) and his programmes continue to be subsidised by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA). 

Since 1993 Buckingham has facilitated some 46 Vital Importance Programmes on 24 topics all related to the management of the human resource in the business environment, with a general theme of "why do people do what they do, and why don't they do what I want them to do". All the programmes are action oriented, drawing examples from the Cyprus reality and concentrating on the people aspects of achieving successful change.

A key part each programme is the follow-up consultancy visit made to each delegate company where individualised implementation action plans are created and agreed.

Seminars for Autumn 2008

“Creating Change in the Family Business”
being presented in Lefkosia on September 24^th & 25^th 2008. This is a fully revised programme with many additional elements, so those who have attended a Family Business seminar with Buckingham Consultancy before will find many new ideas to help them with managing their business, and for newcomers to the topic, attendance will prove invaluable.

Sessions last from 8.45am to 6.15pm each day.

There will be a follow-up visit to each delegate company in October / November.

“Managing the Innovation Process”
being presented in Lefkosia on November 12^th & 13^th 2008. This is a new programme created specifically for the Cyprus market and will guide delegates through the process of introducing innovative ideas and practices into their businesses.

Sessions last from 8.45am to 6.15pm each day.

There will be a follow-up visit to each delegate company in November / December.
